The Impossible Project (now Polaroid)

The Impossible Project was started in 2008 by Florian Kaps, André Bosman and others to save instant film. They bought Polaroid‘s last factory in Enschede, in the Netherlands, and had to reinvent the chemistry, because the original suppliers had gone.

Its first films reached shops in 2010. In 2017 its main shareholder bought the Polaroid brand, and the company has traded as Polaroid since.
